Horse Trails Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls horse riding trails along the banks of the Zambezi river  in Victoria Falls.  Designed for both the experienced and novice rider, the horse safaris explore  hidden game paths, ride on secret islands and canter through open bush veld.

Track buffalo, elephant, impala and other game.  Animals do not fear horses, sp you will be able to get up close, providing excellent photographic opportunities.

Zambezi Horseback Trails are well designed trails and pathways to suit both the  novice and experienced rider.

Paths will take you along the banks of the Zambezi river above the Victoria Falls.  Ride on secret islands, canter through open bush veld, explore hidden game paths. 

A unique thing about being in the saddle is that you really can get up close to Africa’s wildlife.  This is because the animals are not scared of the horses.

Horses used on the rides are Anglo Arab, Thoroughbred, Cleveland Bay or bush ponies and all trails are led by experienced rider guides.
All riding levels are catered for.

Please allow 30 – 45 mins turnaround time for your itinerary

For information – you will be supplied with
Hard hats for all riders (standard eventing helmets). Obligatory for children
Money belts to carry your cash/ travelers cheques, medication and camera.
There are no safe facilities for cash at the premises.
Rain coats and ponchos during rains.
The above provisions are on loan and laundered after every trip
All trails are led by experienced rider guides and all riding levels are catered for
A basic first aid kit and bottled water is carried on all trips
