Ruckomechi Camp- Mana Pools

Ruckomechi looks out over the Zambezi Valley and river, situated on the western side of Mana Pools National Park. In this remote and beautiful setting, accommodation is in spacious en suite tents. Taking advantage of the magnificent views, enjoy an outdoor bath or sleep under the stars in a star bed.

Overview

Predators including lion, wild dog and leopard are often sighted, and large concentrations of buffalo.
Kudu, zebra, impala and waterbuck can be seen on the surrounding plains
The camp is shaded by a massive grove of acacia trees and has no fence allowing game to wander freely through it.
A wooden viewing deck provides the perfect place for gazing at the Zambezi River and the mountains

Accommodation

The camp sleeps 20 guests in 10 thatched chalets
■ Facilities are en-suite and include a shower, toilet and basin.
■ Ten twin, luxury rooms under thatch with ensuite facilities.
■ The honeymoon suite overlooks the Zambezi River and has an outdoor bath
■ There are 9 – ¾ twin-bedded rooms which can be converted into king-sized beds
■ 1 Family unit for 4 guests
■ Tour leader accommodation for two in thatched chalet with en-suite facilities at the back of the camp.
■ This camp can accommodate 22 guests plus tour leader
