Big Cave Camp Matobo Hills Bulawayo is a stunning safari lodge bordering the Matobo Hills National Park, a world heritage site.
Big Cave is situated at the top of an enormous granite whaleback with commanding views across the famous Matopos.

The Matobo Hills is home to the greatest variety and density of birds of prey anywhere in the world. Here you will find the Black Eagle, African Hawk Eagle and the rare Cape Eagle Owl.
Also to be found here is one of the worlds largest concentrations of San rock art.

During your stay at Big Cave Camp visit raptor nest sites. For the “twitcher” look for some of the 140 known species of birds in the area
