Chobe National Park

is one of southern Africa’s most visited parks and it is easy to see why.   Forming the northern part of the Park is the Chobe river, a lifeline for Chobe’s many and diverse wildlife.

Viewing game has never been easier.  Whether from the sea of an open 4 x 4 safari vehicle or on a boat cruise, the animals are easy to spot.

Elephants form a big part of this attraction and especially when they start to swim from island to island.  On the many islands you will find buffalo lazing away, far from lions.  Hippo’s and crocodiles guard their territory in the river, while over 460 bird species have been recorded in the Park.

If you are new to birding then Chobe National Park is well recommended as being an ideal location.   African skimmers, fish eagles, numerous stork species and kingfishers are just some of the birds you will find.
