Chobe National Park
Did you know that Chobe was Botswana’s first national park, established in 1968. Chobe riverfront is famous for its elephants. Elephants drinking, elephants playing, elephants swimming from island to island.
Afternoon boat cruises provide the perfect opportunity for photographing Chobe’s animals. Hippos and crocodiles are river residents and other animals you can expect to encounter are giraffe, sable, impala, warthog and hyena.
Birdlife is just exceptional with more than 460 species recorded in the park. Plenty of storks, herons, darters as well as kingfishers.
