Overview

Ellie Sands is one of those Special Places – where elephants rule.  Situated 54 km north of Nata, it is an outstanding overnight stop en route to Kasane for a real bush camp experience. 

There is a stretch of some 2 kms of sandy road and high rise or 4 x 4 vehicles is recommended. If you are a skilled driver a sedan car is no problem

Accommodation consists of 
■ 10 x en suite safari tents

■ 14 chalets (2 are family chalets)

When you sit down to dinner and can stretch your hand out and touch an elephant, you know this is a very unique place. 
We regularly stop at Elephant Sands en route up to Chobe or Hwange national park. 
Water is somtimes problematic – in some part due to the elephants.
