Canoe Safaris Victoria Falls

Canoe safaris upper Zambezi at Victoria Falls take place on the stretch of the river between Siamsimba Islands and the national park entrance.  Rapids are small and at their peak are classed as grade 2.

As you canoe along the banks of the Zambezi National Park, there is a good chance of spotting elephant, buffalo, impala and hippos.

The birding enthusiast is also well rewarded with at least 50 species of birds to be found.
This activity is ideal for wildlife photography allowing you to get up close.

Minimum age restriction is 10 years, there is no maximum age.

Looking for adventure and fun, sleeping on Zambezi Islands?

The Upper Zambezi has numerous heavily wooded islands.  These are dissected by channels up to several kilometres in length and varying in width from one to twenty metres.

Day Trips on the Upper Zambezi 
The Canoeing Safari operates above the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe on the 15km running along the banks of the Zambezi National Park

The Canoeing Trail operates above the Victoria Falls between #19 Campsite and the Mine Fields.

Guides are licensed, fully trained and all hold valid first aid certificates. Whilst every precaution is taken, it is essential that agents make clients aware that an indemnity form must be signed before participating on these safari’s. A comprehensive first aid kit is carried on each trip. The trip leader is in radio and cell phone contact with our base in Victoria Falls and direct with M.A.R.S. (Medical Air Rescue Service).
