Jet Boating Extreme

Above Vic Falls.
The speedboat ride explores river channels through secluded areas.
This allows guests to take in wildlife, riverbanks and islands near the Zambezi National Park.

Two packages are on offer, the Early-Bird Explorer, a one-hour trip first thing in the morning.
The second package is the Sunset Explorer Package, a two-hour trip before dusk.

Below Vic falls
Huge jet engines pump vast amounts of power.
These powerboats shoot down the rapids below the Victoria Falls at 100 km an hour.
A thrilling half hour spent flying over the water and ‘buzzing’ rock faces between rapids 23 and 27.

The Jet Boat Extreme tour starts at the Day Activity Centre (Livingstone).
Transfers are arranged in specially adapted Land-Rover vehicles (approximately 1 hour) to your entry point at the gorge.

Height to the bottom of the gorge is approx. 270 m (880 feet).

A cable car lift transports you to the bottom. Here you will meet your jet boat pilot for a briefing. Water and soft drinks are available.

One of the most thrilling 30 minutes of your life is about to begin.
After the ride, board the cable car for the 8 minute ride out.

Ice-cold beer and soft drinks await you at the top after which you are transferred back to the Day Activity Centre (Livingstone).

An alternative to being lifted out of the gorge in the cable car, take a helicopter and complete an action packed day by flying up the river skimming the water under the shadows of the cliffs, rising out of the gorge for a quick look at the Falls before landing.

As above, there are two departures a day and they include beer and cool drinks after the boat ride
