The Fishing Experience
• As well as the famous tiger fish, there are also various species of largemouth bream tilapia, nembwe and African pike making this area a fly angler's paradise
• Game viewing is not the main highlight of this area but game walks can be arranged on some of the larger islands.
You can expect to see: Elephant, Buffalo, Lion and all the big game.
• During normal cruising you will see Hippo, Crocodiles, Red Lechwe and the rare and elusive Sitatunga antelope.
The Sitatunga's favourite food is one of the papyrus
grasses (Cyperus papyrus) found floating on the currents.
• This is also a spectacular area for bird enthusiasts with more than 350 species in the area including Pels Fishing Owl
