Located in the Matabeleland province, Bulawayo is Zimbabwe’s second largest city.
Also known as the “city of Kings”, Bulawayo houses the Museum of Natural History with over 75 000 specimens.
For railway buffs, the Railway Museum is not to be missed. Rolling stock, railway memorabilia and other exhibits dating back as far as 1897 can be seen.
Imagine a landscape of huge granite masses which have been split, sculpted and shaped by time and weather. As far as the eye can see, huge boulders looks like tghey have randomly been piled high on top of one another.
Scan the horizon for 3000 sq. kilometres and you are looking at the Matobos National Park.
