The Boma - an experience not to be missed
  • an exciting fun filled night of entertainment, feasting and cultural traditions
  • guests are welcomed with a traditional greeting in Shona and Ndebele, the local languages
  • you are then dressed in "chitenges" (traditional robes)
  • next follows a hand washing ceremony before sampling traditional beer and snacks as a prelude to dinner

    a variety of game meat and potjiekos (hunter's stew) - as well as vegetarian meals
    diners are invited to sample such ethnic delicacies as deep fried kapenta and groundnuts or mopane worm in peanut butter

    be absorbed with tales from the local story teller
    have your fortune told by the witchdoctor
    learn how to drum and take part in the inter-active drumming - this is FABULOUS FUN
