The River Club Livingstone Zambia

On the banks of the Zambezi River, 18 kms upstream from Victoria Falls, The River Club’s has a distinct Edwardian flavour, in a peaceful and tranquil setting away from the crowds.

The Zambezi National Park is located just across the river, and elephants can be seen on the river bank. A rich bird life is found in the area. Hippos are regularly sighted (and heard) along the river's edge.

There are very few destinations as romantic as The River Club to choose from. Whether you are looking for a religious ceremony or a civil one we are able to put together something very easily just for you, be it on the main lawn over looking the river or on the white sands of the island in front of the lodge. The sunsets are truly magnificent and provide a spectacular backdrop for YOUR special day

For bird lovers there are nature trails around the lodge, boat cruises, island walks and daily visits to the Victoria Falls.

The River Club does offer game drives into the nearby Mosi Oa Tunya Game Park where there is an abundance of game but sadly no big cats. There is a good chance of spotting white rhino on these trips. Other game that can be seen are: elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and impala.

Tiger fishing is an unforgettable challenge for keen fishermen, particularly during the warmer months. There are various varieties of Bream that are also a good catch. For the more sporting, try catching them on fly!
