Hwange can be visited all year round. Summer (November to February) is the rainy season and can be very warm, so be sure to bring cool clothing and raincoats

The winter months (May to August) are dry which is good for game-viewing but make sure to bring very warm clothing/jackets for the night drives. Also don't forget to bring hats, sunscreen, bathing costumes, binoculars and cameras
