Getting to the Caprivi Strip

Katima Mulilo in the Caprivi strip is readily accessible by tarred road from Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa

Tourists can travel on high quality tarred road all the way from Windhoek to Victoria Falls
either via
The Trans Caprivi Highway,
links central Namibia via Grootfontein, Rundu, Bagani & Katima Mulilo to the Chobe Game Reserve in Botswana and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
or
Chobe/Victoria falls via Botswana from Windhoek on the Trans Kalahari B6 through Gobabis to Ghanzi in Botswana and on to Maun, then Nata and finally Kasane [Chobe].
[The direct route between Maun (Okavango) to Kasane (Chobe) is a dirt road and suitable for 4x4 wheel drives only - approx 8 hrs]
