Celebrate your wedding vows and wedding reception on the banks of
the Zambezi River upstream from Victoria Falls in Mosi-oa-Tunya Park

in 10 luxurious en-suite tree houses at Sussi
Lodge and in the neighbouring two-bedroomed exclusive villa

House nestled in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

Wedding Service
A local minister of religion or magistrate is arranged to conduct the
ceremony at stunning settings on the banks of the Zambezi, with musical
accompaniment provided by a marimba band and an African choir.
Wedding services take place at a time suitable to the bride and groom.
Hint: A mid to late afternoon ceremony, enables the couple
to
- indulge themselves on the morning of the wedding as the resident
beauty therapist provides a range of treatments including a massage,
pedicure and manicure
- Facials and hair appointments can be arranged at the Royal Livingstone
Hotel.
Staff can arrange for the hire of a wedding photographer and videographer
as well as flowers to decorate the setting for the wedding, buttonholes
for the men, corsages for the ladies and a bridal bouquet
After the wedding service
After the service the newlyweds and wedding party can feast on wedding
cake and sparkling wine, before cruising down the Zambezi to an island
for sundowner cocktails.

a private candlelit dinner at the lodge,
- or a party with the wedding guests.
- Staff will arrange a romantic turndown in the room with special
flowers and sparkling wine.
To ensure the wedding event is arranged and managed flawlessly, requires
the following information from the bridal couple:
- First name and surname
- Date of birth
- Town and country of birth
- Nationality
- Passport Number and date of expiry
- Status (single, divorced, widowed)
- if divorced a copy of the divorce certificate is needed, and
- if widowed a copy of the death certificate.
- If single a letter of consent from both sets of parents

- · Father’s full names
- · Father’s occupation (this is essential because it
is needed for the marriage certificate. It must be indicated if the
father is deceased)

The approximate cost of the wedding package is
- USD1200 if the wedding party consists of just the
bride and groom,
- USD1500 for a wedding party of less than 10 people
- USD1750 for a wedding party of 10 or more people.
The cost is also dependent on requests for items such as sparkling
wine and flowers.
The rates include the following costs:
· All arrangements and coordination of the wedding by the lodge
team
· Notice of the marriage to be put up at the local civic centre
· Registration and officiating of the marriage by a magistrate
or pastor
· Corsages, buttonholes and bridal bouquet
· Flowers at the wedding service and reception dinner venue
· Wedding cake (sponge – one tier)
· Sparkling wine, fresh orange juice, tea and coffee after the
blessing
· Sundowner cocktails on a nearby island with sparkling wine
and snacks
· Local choir and marimba band
· Sparkling wine with dinner
· Romantic turndown – sparkling wine and flowers in room
The rates do not include the following costs:
· Flights and other travel costs to get to Livingstone
· Massages, beauty or hair treatments
· The photographer and videographer
· Accommodation
· Breakfast, lunch, dinner and standard drinks which would be
included in an all inclusive accommodation rate
