The advantage of going out with these guides is that they can easily
unstuck snagged lures and also get you into very rocky areas silently.

Getting There
From Livingstone, take the road to Sesheke via Kazungula, then cross
the Zambezi over the new bridge between Sesheke and Katima Mulilo.
From Kazungula, Botswana, take the road through the Chobe National
Park on the tar road for 80km, to Katima Mulilo, Namibia. Katima is
the last stop for fuel before Senanga. After the border, follow the
dirt road for a further 125km to reach the lodge.
From Mongu, Zambia, there is a 100km tar road to Senanga, which is
not in good condition. This is the last opportunity for fuel before
Livingstone or Katima Mulilo. 10km beyond Senanga is the ferry. This
is the only viable route to Sioma from the North. If taking this route,
suggest that you carry sufficient fuel.
Note:
A 4 x 4 vehicle is needed for the road from Katima Mulilo; the road
is gravel and has not been maintained for a number of years. The 125km
will take you approximately four to five hours depending on the type
of vehicle used. It is a scenic route along the Zambezi River and is
also the main route to Liuwa plains. As we are not as yet operating
game drives to Ngwezi National park, information on the park is limited
