Accommodation
- accommodates 12 guests in 6 en suite chalets (stone/thatch)
- each chalet has a private deck overlooking the river
- chalets comprise a bedroom with two three-quarter size beds
- the en suite bathroom has a shower, hand basin and toilet
- there are walk in mosquito nets and ceiling fans
- safety deposit box in each chalet
- electricity and plug points in each chalet
The swimming pool, sun downer deck, lounge, open dining area, and fire
pit provide guests with unparalleled vistas of the Upper Zambezi River.
Meals can be taken on the sundowner deck or in the large lounge/bar/dining
room area.

Catch-and-Release Policy
A catch-and-release policy to preserve the precious fish resources
of the pristine Upper Zambezi River, however fish are allowed to to
be removed from the water only to be weighed and photographed provided
the fish are handled carefully.
Fishing Tackle
Shackletons provides guests with fishing tackle suitable for spinning,
trolling and drift baiting.
Guests are welcome to bring their own fishing tackle.
Fly fishing anglers are required to bring their own fishing tackle
