At the southern section of the Moremi Game Reserve, offering some
of the best game viewing in the Okavango Delta
Stanleys camp is a exclusive African
camp, catering to those who want a bit of pampered luxury to go with
their safari.
This luxury camp is situated in a 260,000 acre private concession adjoining
the Moremi Game Reserve.
The floodwaters arrive around June, although there is often navigable
water all year
round due to the presence of the Boro River.
The camp overlooks the Boro river and the area is rich in wildlife.
Lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes wild dog, buffalo, leopard as well
as cheetah.— but also things you don’t expect: jewelled
frogs, neon-blue water-lilies, snowy egrets and brilliant birds

The “wet” season normally begins late December and lasts
through early March. This
season characteristically has hot sunny days with afternoon thundershowers.- The camp is accessible by air from Maun (15 minutes), Kasane (1 hour
30 minutes) and all other delta camps.

Main Building
The main building is raised on decking and offers extensive views over
the surrounding floodplains.
Stanley's is carefully blended into the existing tree line, its main
support being a large sausage tree.
no photograph can convey the scent of sage brush in the early morning,
the sound of vultures on a dead elephant, or the incredible brightness
of the African stars
