The camp overlooks a scenic lagoon and is built under a grove of shady trees This is a camp for the safari traditionalist to experience the Okavango The surrounding area is a mass of reeds, which may be explored by mokoro (dug out canoe) Gliding through pristine waterways and channels between palm-fringed islands, you can view the game and countless birds which flourish in the waterways. All the big predators, and Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest can be seen. If you are lucky, some of the nocturnal animals such as Serval, Civet and Genet may be seen on night drives. There is a plunge pool, which is an ideal place to while away the hot midday hours
The bathrooms are enclosed, but roofless - for a true bush experience - bathing under African skies Meals are served around the campfire or in the main mess tent, which has a bar, dining area and lounge Activities
Hippo and Crocodile are found in the deeper lagoons in the area. Birding enthusiasts will enjoy sighting Pells Fisihg Owl, African Fish Eagle, Giant Eagle Owl and White Backed Vultures
