Chitabe Camp - Okavango

A luxurious eight-roomed, tented camp built on one of the most beautiful islands alongside the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta

Chitabe is particularly famous for the enormous herds of Buffalo and for sightings of the endangered African painted or wild dog

Chitabe (pronounced Chitaabee) is located in a 28000 hectare photographic reserve alongside the Moremi Game Reserve.

The Chitabe area has a superb variety of habitats, and includes open seasonally flooded plains, wooded islands and lagoons.

Chitabe has the classic Okavango scenery and is without a doubt the "Soul of the Okavango Delta"
