Ivory Lodge is situated on the border of Zimbabwe's famous Hwange National Park. Accommodation is in stilted, ensuite lodges and all enjoy a direct view of the waterhole

Days can be spent going on game drives into Hwange National Park, walking safaris, tours to traditional villages or just lazing beside the pool. Many guests like to do nothing more than sit quietly at the hide, which is situated only 50m from the waterhole

Elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, wild dog, giraffe and numerous antelope species are found on the property, as well as an incredible variety of birdlife

Accommodation

Guests have a choice of 6 stilted, ensuite lodges, all positioned for privacy, and all enjoying a direct view of the waterhole

5 twin or double-bedded tree lodges, all en-suite

1 double bedded en-suite honeymoon tree lodge with bathroom

Facilities

• Ivory Lodge can cater for mini conferences, meetings, talks or presentations.
  Visual Aid equipment is available on request at an additional cost.
• Weddings, 21st Birthdays, Anniversaries catered for
• Swimming Pool
• The Camp has a central open sided thatched boma, which covers the dining area and the bar.
• In the evenings, drinks are served either on a platform overlooking the river, or at the bar.
• Dinner is then served at a huge circular teak table in the boma.
• After dinner, guests retire to the firepit, where a blazing log fire is kept roaring, and coffee and liqueurs are served, to the background noises of the African night

Sleeping on a platform hide overlooking a water hole in Hwange national park, listening to lions roaring, a jackal calling and Elephants trumpeting. Spectacular on a full moon. Extra cost is US$75 per person

Transfers: Road transfers from Victoria Falls for approx US$150 return p.person
By car: self-drive. 280km from Bulawayo, 180 km from Victoria Falls.
By air: direct private air charter from Victoria Falls to Hwange Airport
