River in North Eastern Namibia, is the secluded Kalizo Lodge.
Solitude, space and spectacular river sunsets are what visitors come
to experience in this fascinating area with vast Flood Plains and rich
bird-life.
Kalizo is situated close to Southern Africa's three major Tourist
attractions:

is offered in 2 bed rustic thatched chalets (7 in total)
These en suite chalets are set near the banks of the Zambezi affording
peace and tranquility and uninterrupted views over a wide expanse of
the river and magnificent sunsets.

All units feature a bathroom and kitchenette, with basic

 Relax in the 'Silumba Bar' to relate your experiences of the monsters
that got away. It is a fact that more fish are lost in the 'Silumba Bar'
than in the Zambezi

Small fishing tackle shop on site. Shop also stocks candles, sugar, salt, coils, hats, t-shirts, towels, key rings, beads, ice, cooler bags. Activities
 Fishing: - catch the mighty tiger, bream, barbel,
and many other species. All tackle is available for hire at the lodge
Birding: - view some of Africa's most beautiful birds,
African Skimmer, Redwinged Pratincole and one of the largest breeding
colonies of Carmine Bee-eaters - 430 species
Mokoro Trips: - take a trip into the backwaters of
the Zambezi and experience it's rich habitat
Quad-Biking: - enjoy an adventurous hour quad-biking
through the flood-plains of the Caprivi or spend the day on a ride to
the historical Schuckmannsburg
Nature Walks: - take a guided nature walk along the
banks of the Zambezi River
African Village: - visit one of the local African
Villages where you can experience day-to-day rural life
Sunset Cruise: - end the day with a glass of wine,
cruising along the Zambezi River while watching the sun go down
Champagne Breakfast:- enjoy a champagne breakfast
on a sand bank of the Zambezi River
Day Trips: - to Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park,
