Type of Vehicles
The vehicles used on the semi participation safari are custom fitted
4 x 4 vehicles that seat 8 people in individual seating, excluding the
guide.
Boat trips
In the Chobe National Park and the Xakanaxa area of the Moremi Reserve,
a boat trip is not included in the price of the safari.
The activities that are on offer at each park are as follows:-
Moremi -Khwai area- Game drives
Moremi -Xakanaxa area- Game drives and a boat trip on the Okavango Delta.
Makgadikgadi Pan- Game drives
Naxi pan- Game drives
Type of activities that are offered
The daily activities usually follow along these lines... An early start
with a light breakfast, then out on an activity, that will last through
until brunch/lunch. This will be followed by a siesta through the main
heat of the day. Then it is tea time and then off on an afternoon activity,
that ends at sundown. |
Time Frames
The approximate time frame between the main camping areas by
vehicle are as follows
Maun to Xakanaxa.......................3 hours
Xakanaxa to Khwai......................2 hours
Khwai to Savuti............................3 hour
Savuti to Chobe River front............2 hours
Maun to Makgadigadi Pan............3,1/2 hours
Maun to Naxi Pan.........................3,1/2 hours
Maun to Deception Valley.............6 hours

Okavango Camping Tours
Meals and Drinks
Three substantial meals per day are served, between planned safari
activities. Breakfast will consist of cereals, toast, tea and coffee
to accommodate game drives and early departures from camp. Brunch or
lunch will consist of a main meal, two salads and fruit. At tea time
we offer biscuits with tea and coffee. Whilst dinners consists of two
course meal. Menus of fresh produce change every day and vegetarian
or special diets can be catered for by prior arrangement.
* All drinks are to the guests own account. We can pre-order drinks,
the cost of which must be settled directly with the guide at the end
of the safari or guests can buy their own.
