A mobile safari into the wilderness area of Xakanaxa in the Moremi Game reserve of Okavango Delta

Starts and ends Maun

Day 1 to 4

You can either be met at the Maun airport and driven to the Moremi Reserve or you can take a charter flight from Maun to the Xakanaxa airstrip in Moremi Reserve.

The drive takes about 4 hours but as you are going through wildlife area most of the way, there is always the possibility of seeing some animals on route.

Day 2

The second day will be spent exploring the game reserve by vehicle on a morning and afternoon game drive.

Day 3

Early rise with a light breakfast served. Then off to the Boat Station where a boat will then take us out to explore the channels of the Okavango Delta for the day.

Lunch will be served on an island. After our very relaxing day on the Delta we will proceed back to the Boat station, jump back into the game drive vehicle and game drive back to our camp for the evening.

Day 4

Depending on the safari trip type, clients will either help pack up camp and proceed by road back to Maun OR the clients will be taken to the airstrip where they will jump onto a light air craft back to Maun to connect to their International flights.
