Modus Operandus For Mobile Safaris Group size – max 6 per vehicle Type of accommodationThe accommodation is in small 2 man dome tents that are totally insect proof. There are mattresses, sheets, sleeping bags and blankets provided. Guests are expected to help with putting up and breaking down of the camp; however, there is a cook along to help with the food and general chores around the camp.
There is a hand basin per tent and shared bucket shower and toilet per 7 clients. There is no lighting in the tents and so it is advisable that all guests bring flash lights with them. There is no laundry done.Luggage- clients should bring a max of 12kg's luggage as all the equipment will fit in the trailer that is towed behind the vehicle and moves with the safari. StaffThere is 1 staff member on the participation safari excluding the guide and he is a cook and general hand. He will help clients set up and take down tents as well as tidy tents and cook all meals. Meals and Drinks
Three substantial meals per day are served, between planned safari activities. Breakfast will consist of cereals, toast, tea and coffee to accommodate game drives and early departures from camp. Brunch or lunch will consist of a main meal, two salads and fruit. At tea time we offer biscuits with tea and coffee. Whilst dinners consists of two course meal. Menus of fresh produce change every day and vegetarian or special diets can be catered for by prior arrangement. * All drinks are to the guests own account. We can pre-order drinks, the cost of which must be settled directly with the guide at the end of the safari or guests can buy their own. Type of VehiclesThe vehicles used on the participation safari are custom fitted 4 x 4 vehicles that seat 8 people in individual seating, excluding the guide.Type of Medical Cover offeredIn the event of a medical emergency, all clients of that are engaged on a mobile safari are covered by medical air rescue. In the event of a medical emergency, it is imperative that the guest takes out their own fully comprehensive travel insurance policy valid from the date they confirm their itinerary. This should cover cancellation, lost baggage, admission to hospital and all subsequent medical expenses All guides that lead mobile camping safaris are trained in first aid
