Chobe adventure mobile safariChobe National Park 6 nights 7 days camping safariMobile 4x4 camping safari through some of the richest game areas in Africa- Chobe, Savuti and Linyati in Botswana. Unforgettable memories Days 1 to 4 are spent in the Chobe River area
Day 1Guest would be transferred from Livingstone to the Kazangula border where their guide meets them. The transfer is in closed mini buses and takes approximately 1.5 hours (one and a half) with the border crossing. It is then into the park which is 15 minutes from the border. There is plenty of game viewing to do on the way to camp. Lunch will be served in camp and then there will be some time for guests to get to know the tents and their surroundings. The late afternoon is usually an elephant festival but there is always a lot of diversity of animals to see. Day 2The second day will be spent doing an early morning drive along the Chobe River flood plains, that will finish at lunch time, then showers, siesta and the out on an afternoon drive. Day 3It will be an early start with a game drive in the morning, which will finish at the banks of the Chobe River at midday. A boat will be waiting to take everyone on a boat for a 3-hour game cruise with lunch on board. This is wonderful way to see the game and the Chobe River. Once back on land we will take a late afternoon drive. The Chobe River is well known for its vast herds of elephants and it's diversity of all animals. It is also home to the Puku, which is this antelope’s most Southern range. Days 4 to 7 are spent in the Savuti area
It will be an early start as there is a 4-hour drive to the next area of the park. We will take a packed lunch, as the camp will need time to move. The Savuti area of the Chobe Park is very different to the area along the river. There are three water points that are pumped so that the animals in the area can drink. The elephants dominate the water hole but the lions in this area have adapted to killing up to 15-year-old elephant males!!! It is in this area that you realize that water is the currency of life. The activities over the next 3-day will be centered around the water points. They are spaced out and so there is plenty to see, driving between them. The order of each day will follow on the lines of early morning drives followed by lunch, a siesta and then out for an afternoon drive. Day 7Fly onto a camp or drive back to Kasane
