Ambuya Dambudzo - Kariba boat

Ambuya Dambudzo (previously Sunseeker) is a air-conditioned upmarket Pontoon type houseboat with all the interior areas tastefully furnished.

Crew: There is a crew of 3 being the Captain, Chef and Deckhand and they have their own quarters and ablutions

Accommodation

Cabin 1 is a double bed cabin, with one central bedside table, cupboard space, a chest of drawers and small dresser. It has an en suite toilet, shower and wash basin.

Cabin 2 is a twin-bedded cabin with one central bedside table, cupboard space, a chest of drawers and small dresser.

Cabin 3 has 4 bunk-type beds and a chest of drawers

Cabins 2 and 3 share a bathroom with toilet, shower and wash basin

There are extra mattresses and mosquito nets provided for the "open air" sleepers

Top deck

There is a bar counter, a fixed table, garden type chairs and enough mattresses to sleep 14 people .

There is an extra toilet and shower at the rear of the boat, as well as an outside shower, all recently added to cater for the top deck.

A wheelhouse to the front of the top deck equipped with Ship to Shore radio

Lower deck

¤ There is a spacious dining/saloon area with a fixed table and stools plus there are 3 built in wall seats

¤ There is a well-equipped galley forward of the saloon. This has a 4 plate gas stove with oven and an eye-level grill. There is plenty of cupboard and drawer space and a double kitchen sink.

¤ There is a portable paddling pool - up to 6 people

¤ The unshaded area is ideal for sunbathing

Facilities

TENDER BOATS: there is one 60 HP, 8 pax.
Extra speedboats can be hired at an additional cost to the client. Alternatively clients may bring their personal speedboat to be towed behind the mother vessel.

COLD SPACE: There is a triple door under the counter deep freeze in the saloon area. There are 5 large cooler boxes on the top deck.

Clients are requested to bring their own portable cooler boxes for use on the tender boats.

Adventure cruise rental conditions

Catering, drinks, rod hire, bait, extra speed boats etc can be arranged through us at an additional cost.

Clients will pay for all fuel used at the end of the charter.

Fuel estimate is 110 litres per day
