Accommodation

Cabin 1 : has a double bed and a small single bed. This cabin also has an en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin.

Cabin 2: has twin beds and is also air-conditioned.

Extra mattresses are available for Clients who wish to sleep on deck in the open air

Although only 5 can be accommodated inside the cabins, another three passengers can sleep on deck quite comfortably. Both levels of the top deck are roofed and have drop down blinds.

There is one separate shower with a hand-basin and another separate toilet with hand-basin

Facilities on Kariba Star

The galley/saloon area is air-conditioned and leads out onto an open air dining area.

The top deck has two levels each with their own seating area.

Tender Boat. There is one Skimmer Pontoon type tender with an outboard engine. This will comfortably carry 8 people.

Cold Storage: There is one deep freeze on the top deck and two deep freezes in the galley. There is also a portable cooler box to take out on your fishing and game viewing excursions.

Catering, fishing rod hire, purchase of tackle and bait can be arranged byus at an additional cost to the Clients.

Mooring
The vessel is moored at Marineland Harbour near Caribbea Bay Hotel

Rates on a bare boat basis : 2007

US$ 315 | South African Rands 2200 per night - 4 to 6 passengers

Approximate fuel consumption 90 litres per day

Included:
Houseboat hire, 15% Sales Tax, the service of crew, cutlery, crockery and linen. The use of the tender boats but not the fuel or 2% Tourism Levy
