On the western side of lake Kariba - a 4 hour drive by road from Victoria falls.

Binga harbour is 330km by tarred road from Victoria Falls and a lot easier and cheaper to get to especially if you are flying up.

The fishing is generally better and it is less crowded but has fewer animals to view

Upstream of Victoria falls houseboats can go 140 km's up the Zambezi to Kalembesa all year or 20 km's up the Chobe river to Serondella from Kasane.

The delta itself is difficult to navigate for houseboats, so all the boats are moored on the Okavango river in what is called the pan handle at Sepupa, Seronga and Shakawe

« Xmas and New Year is when every boat is on the water for PARTY TIME and the best time to book for this period is at least six months in advance
