Area : Lower Zambezi River. Chirundu to Chongwe

Distance : Approx 76km on the Zambian side

Daily Routine

As the Zambezi Valley can get hot in the summer months, you start early to make the most of the cool part of the day.

Day One

Meet 10.30am Chirundu or 11am Gwabi. Guide briefing followed by light lunch, canoeing orientation. Canoe through to evening Camp, effectively a half day canoeing.
Canoe approx 14 km to evening island / prepare camp.
Overnight: Kakomalala

Rates exclude airport and departure taxes - national park fees - river useage fees - travel insurance - visas

this canoe safari requires a minimum of 2 participants.

It is compulsory to have medical and travel insurance cover to take part in the safari. E&OE

Season: Year round. – however, for those chartering in, please discuss this with us prior to your arrival, as some airstrips may be closed due to the rains
