Intro

Hwange is Zimbabwe's largest national park and is home to a wide diversity of bird, plant and wildlife.
Opportunities for game viewing and photography are excellent.

The camp is situated on the edge of a remote pan surrounded by giant mopane and leadwood trees.

The route to the camp is from Hwange's Main Camp and will take approx. one hour.

Accommodation is in mosquito proofed tents - comfortable beds - full camp support staff.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 - HWANGE CENTRAL

elephant Early morning: transfer from Victoria Falls to Hwange Main Camp.
Also an early morning start if staying overnight at The Hide

On arrival at your private camp with ice cold drinks and plated lunch.

Afternoon: get to know the area around your camp on a 5 km walk led by your experienced guide.

Pre dinner : sundowners
Dinner: Full three-course dinner

DAYS 2 & 3 - HWANGE CENTRAL

Mornings and evenings are spent on exploring the natural springs and smaller pans as well as tracking elephant, buffalo, other mammals, and possibly lion.

Typically on these days an early morning rise at around 06h00 for tea/coffee, muffins/biscuits and cereals to start the day.

Depending on guests’ interests and fitness levels, full flexibility is offered to do either :
· An early morning and late afternoon walk, and relax in camp in-between with a lunch generally of cold meats and salads;
· Or explore for the day, having had a full breakfast in camp and take a packed lunch.
· A third alternative is to stay around the waterhole or the natural springs (where there is a platform) for the day or half of it.

Once again camp awaits with a three-course dinner and cold drinks.

DAY 4 – END OF SAFARI

The morning is spent on early morning drives and/or walks.

After breakfast the safari takes a leisurely drive back to Main Camp for the transfer connection to Victoria Falls.
