A transfer from Victoria Falls to Hwange town

Hwange is the largest National Park in Zimbabwe (approximately half the size of Belgium at 14,500 sq. km!) and has a diverse treasure of wildlife. The elephant population of over 20,000 is world renowned, and game viewing and photographic opportunities are excellent.

Campsite
Your exclusive campsite for the next three nights are in well-sited locations close to water in the Sinamatella hills area of the Park

Transfer
Your drive from Hwange town through the Park will take at least around two hours depending on sightings, and you will arrive at your set up private camp with ice cold drinks and plated lunch.

Hwange Campfire

Your guide will lead an afternoon walk in the vicinity of your camp for approximately 5km before you return for sundowners.

Hot showers, cold drinks, full three-course dinner, walk-in mosquito-proofed tents (not that you’ll need them May – August!) comfortable beds and full camp support staff await you.

Drift off to sleep with the nocturnal sounds of the bush all around

DAY 2 & 3 - HWANGE NORTH
Days two and three of your safari are in the Sinamatella area, an excellent hilly walking area and home to the rare Black Rhino. Mornings and evenings are spent at waterholes game viewing, and the days are spent tracking the elusive Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo, other mammals, and possibly Lion.

Typically on these days an early morning rise at around 06h00 for tea/coffee, muffins/biscuits and cereals to start the day. Depending on guests’ interests and fitness levels, full flexibility is offered to either do:

· An early morning and late afternoon walk, and relax in camp in-between with a lunch generally of cold meats and salads;

· Or explore for the day, having had a full breakfast in camp and take a packed lunch.

· A third alternative is to stay around a waterhole for the day or half of it, and see what comes down to drink. Once again camp awaits with a three-course dinner and cold drinks.

DAY 4 – END OF SAFARI
The morning is spent on early morning drives and/or walks. After breakfast the safari takes a leisurely drive back to Hwange town, where you meet your transfer connection back to Victoria Falls
