Victoria falls - sunset cruises

Sunset cruises on the Zambezi River at Victoria falls allows you close observation of hippo pods and elephants crossing the Zambezi

ZAMBEZI RIVER SAFARI.

Guests are collected from their hotel or lodge and transferred to the jetty site.
At the jetty side guests are asked to sign the standard Indemnity Form and receive a trip briefing and safety talk.
After the briefing and talk guests board the safari boat.
Heading off downstream, meandering through the islands, the guides will talk to you and describe the flora and fauna as well as the bird life and wildlife.
Bird enthusiasts will be rewarded by sightings such as the African Finfoot, Open-billed Storks, Yellow-billed Storks and Sacred Ibis.
The cruise is conducted at a slow pace for you to enjoy the relaxed ambience and the beauty of the mighty Zambezi river.
Snacks and drinks are available during the trip
The Zambezi River Safari lasts about 2 hours.
At the end of the safari guests disembark and are transferred back to their hotel/lodge.

Sunset Cruise- 2 to3 hrs

Starts at 16h00 in winter and 16h30 in summer. The sunset cruise time is approximately 2 hours

There are several boats leaving for the sunset cruise and prices vary between US$25 to US$30 plus US$5 river usage fee to be paid in cash prior to boarding

Sunset Cruises have a complimentary bar and serve freshly baked snacks. Inevitably, friendships are formed as light snacks and a choice of drinks is served in the dying light of the day. Capture the silhouette of a hippo emerging against a fiery Zambezi sunset on camera, and raise a toast to the wild beauty of Africa. Warm clothing is recommended between April and August

Dinner cruise - 3 to 4 hours

Daily at 16h30 from the jetty

No other dinner setting in Victoria Falls matches the magic of dining by the Zambezi. Start the evening's charm with a relaxing 2-hour sundowner cruise upriver, with light snacks and drinks. Upon returning to the jetty, dinner is served, either on the boat or on the jetty site.

Breakfast and tea cruise- 2 hours

Aug.- April (Summer) daily from the jetty at 05h30 and 15h00

May – July (Winter) daily from the jetty at 06h00 and 15h00

A continental breakfast with sparkling wine is served on board as you glide in a fresh breeze up the glassy river. The river takes on different moods at varying times of the day, and early morning she is at her gentlest. An appetizing start to the full day ahead
