Victoria Falls Park Entrance Fees

The parks board river usage fee of US10 is paid in cash for all water related activities on the Zimbabwe side even if you fly or abseil over the Zambezi river.

Currency

US dollars are accepted everywhere on both the Zimbabwe and Zambian side

You will find only a few activities on either side that will accept travelers checks, so bring cash or better still pre-book and pay via Flame of Africa / Afrizim.com .

Despite the economic mayhem in most quarters of Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls is every bit the magnet it has always been. Life in Victoria Falls is just not as it is elsewhere and perfectly safe for tourists.

Tips to save money

There are a number of reasons to book and pay for your activities before you arrive:

• Mastercard is no longer accepted in Zimbabwe
• Credit card payments can be very expensive as the official local currency rate is a tenth of the unofficial rate. i.e. You will pay 10 times more using c.card's
• No VAT is charged if paying outside the country but is if you pay inside Zimbabwe
