Itinerary (short version)

DAY ONE - arrive Livingstone - briefing session
19h00 Zambezi Sun

DAY TWO -
the adventure begins as we start our journey below the Victoria Falls. This day we will raft some spectacular rapids and after a short portage we arrive at camp.

DAY THREE - today we will be exploring some really infamous rapids namely Oblivion, Overland Truck Crash, Stairway to Heaven. Overnight at a beach camp.

DAY FOUR - highlights on this day include Closed/Open Season and Upper Moemba rapids as well as enjoying awesome the scenery and wildlife of the Batoka gorge. Our overnight stay will be above the 20 foot tall Lower Moemba waterfall.

DAY FIVE - be ready to do some portaging as we head for Chibango Falls. Below Chibango we will be well rewarded with some big waves and perhaps the best challenging rapid of the expedition - the Ghost Rider.

DAY SIX - a somewhat relaxing day as the whitewater mellows - time to enjoy the wildlife and also time for a visit to Smuggler's Cove and smoked Tiger Fish for dinner. This is our last night on the river.

DAY SEVEN - today we float downstream to the confluence of the Matetsi River with its pods of hippos and crocs. After take-out and lunch - we board our helicopter for a scenic flip up the canyon and gorge - viewing all the spectacular rapids you have just thrilled to.
Our final evening together is spent in celebration with a banquet and party (e.t.a. Livingstone between 16h00 - 18h00)
